When I was nineteen, I went overseas for the first time in my life as a college student. Poland was a very interesting place to be just at that time when communism fell and it wasn’t clear what would come next.
Now, I’m venturing into the unknown again with a lot of life having been lived since those days. But again, I head into a place in transition – UK just at the time of Brexit and Scotland with a fierce independent streak. Hard to say just how these stories will develop over time either, but I look forward to sharing the unfolding of my own little adventure within this greater context.
